Our members have recognized the need for togetherness and support among women of all cultures at their universities and are dedicated to the overall success of women around the world.
On September 21, , a group of four women gathered together to decide what organization they could bring to the University of Denver campus to empower all women. Since then, our sisters have worn our letters with pride while excelling academically, participating in community service, and being leaders in various on-campus organizations.
Sisters have gone on to become amazing, independent women, traveling across the world, advocating in our communities, becoming politicians, and creating a legacy. View Experience. Upcoming Events. Today, Sigma Lambda Gamma is the largest, historically Latina-based national sorority with a multicultural membership in chapters and alumnae associations throughout the United States — from Arizona to Wyoming; Florida to Minnesota; New York to Texas; and many more states between the coasts of California and Rhode Island.
We are an academic, cultural, service, and social organization dedicated to promoting the empowerment of women in higher education. Currently, our sisterhood is comprised of different nationalities around the world.
