They went on play larger venues often selling more tickets than national acts who played the same clubs. Being a big draw in the L.
The band went on a national tour playing in small show case clubs. Capitol Records then funded them record videos. The album reached number 3 on the Billboard Top and stayed on the charts for over weeks. Poison became one of the biggest glam metal bands in the world with sold out arena shows and three multi-platinum albums. Guitarist C.
C Deville, who was heavily addicted to drugs and alcohol, was fired from Poison after his erratic performance at the MTV awards show. The album had disappointing sales with only one hit single "Stand. After kicking his addictions C. Deville reunited with Poison in for their successful reunion tour. They released the studio album Hollyweird, in the summer of and toured again. It was the soundtrack album for the movie "A Letter from Death Row" that he wrote, directed, and starred in.
In , Michaels released his studio album "Songs of Life". Bret began his career as a reality TV star in serving as a judge on singing competition who Nashville Star. He starred in his own reality series called "Rock of Love" that premiere in July of It ran for three season until He was the winner of the Celebrity Apprentice in In May of Brett was hospitalized with a brain hemorrhage and a hole in his heart.
Fortunately for his family and legions of fans he recovered to rock on. He has appeared on all the late night talk shows along with Oprah and Ellen.

After completing work on their album, they were disappointed to learn that the record company did not want to release it. The company put out a greatest hits album instead. The new material was finally released in as Crack a Smile and More.
In , Poison was dropped by their record label. With his band floundering, Michaels explored other projects. He formed a production company with actor Charlie Sheen , which led to his first lead film role in Letter from Death Row Michaels played a convicted killer facing the death penalty. In addition to acting, he also wrote the screenplay and the soundtrack for the film. Michaels also served as a co-director.
Michaels made headlines around this time for a very different type of performance. A sex tape involving him and former girlfriend Pamela Anderson ended up in the hands of the Internet Entertainment Group. To stop its release, Michaels sued the company. It was unclear how the company got possession of the tape. At the time, Michaels's lawyer, Edwin F. Bret had a copy. Bret still has his copy. That's all I know.
