If you don't have stealth, you can get to him from the beginning of the instance by pulling the first patrol ooze, then picking off the three packs of two dinosaurs one by one. If you pull more than one, just run out the instance. Look out for the druid and slime patrol that go across the entrance, jump down into the river, and clear out the crocolisks.

Kill the patrol ooze when it comes down for good measure. I just put down earthbind totems, healing stream, and flameshock him while running around the rock; he seems doable for anyone who can slow. I have fought him several times in WC, allways getting the grey shell sheild and twice War Paint. Kresh is my fav of all the mobs even more then the Mazzaranth, or what ever.
